2016-05-28 Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone Park (RY7) Tour
Hue Khuu06/21/2016
To Whom It May Concern,
My wife and I just joined a 7-day tour (5/28 to 6/3/16), Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone. This was a first time that we took a bus tour in the USA. We enjoyed every moment of the trip. We would like to drop a little note about this wonderful journey.
Lankun: The incredible tour guide. She is fluent in bi-language. Her US history knowledge had made the trip worthwhile. she is quick and well plan of the entire trip. Her "military" style (we like this discipline very much) which made no one late for any morning early rise or drop off and pick up points! She is helpful and resourceful. She made sure anyone get all the needs.
Quincy: The experienced pilot. He drove the bus easy as if he maneuvered his jet in the freely sky. He is hilarious! he filled in the "gap" while Lankun was occupied with other activities.
The bus: we were really comfortable throughout the trip even when we were sitting at the last roll of the coastline.
Thank you.

YA7 trip experience
Eunice Lin05/27/2016
Hi,
My sisters and I just got home from the trip of Yellowstone & Arches National Parks. Indeed, It was beyond our expectation on a bus tour which I have not done for years.
Without Lankun Weider's professional guidance, we may not have experienced such a wonderful and learning tour in such short period. I was impressed by Lankun's organizational skills, leadership and knowledge to make our trip full of fun and learning a lot from her about American native cultures.
Quincy did a great job too. His driving skills and habits made us sitting in the bus very comfortably. He is very helpful too loading and unloading our luggages. Besides, I likes his smile - very warm.
Thanks Joy To Your Heart developing this tour route to open our eyes on those amazing nature scenes. I definitely will recommend this trip to my friends.

We just came back from our tour to national parks and we had a great experience with our tour guide, Ms. Lankun.
She is intelligent, efficient, thoughtful, and humorous. We have traveled to many places including domestic and international. Ms. Lankun is the best tour guide that I ever met. She has made our trip very pleasant.

Dear Mr. Chen
Ron Hoyt08/10/2015
My previous tour with Joy To Your Heart was indeed a Joy! I met the Mt. Rushmore tour in Salt Lake City on
May 31 of this year. The entire tour was made very pleasant by Joseph, the tour director, and the driver
from Tampa, Florida.
Unfortunately the Canadian Rockies tour, August 1 through August 9, 2015, was not as enjoyable. I will
not trouble you with what you have probably heard from others.
The loss of two of the tour days was a disappointment to say the least! I had been looking forward to
the trip to the top of the Seattle Space Needle and other points of interest.
Had it not have been for Matthew, I fear that you would have had fifty-five irate customers on your
hands! Matthew's work, patience and professionalism, both as the driver and then as the driver and the
tour director was nothing short of phenomenal. I realize that others on your staff were involved in the
logistics required by the last minute changes, but Matthew is to be highly commended for his handling
of a very difficult situation. Keeping that many people happy is a difficult task at the best of times, doing
it under the conditions that developed is next to impossible.
Thank you Mr. Chan for having a staff of people like Matthew. I personally would not be partaking of
your services again, if it weren't for Matthew.
Kindest regards,
Ron Hoyt

We took a 7 day Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore tour. These tours are mainly for Chinese tourists. The tour
covers a lot in 7 days which if you try to cover on your own will definitely be more expensive and tiring.
The tour is mainly a highlight tour and covers more ground. If you want to explore every point at
Yellowstone , hike, camp etc this is not for you.
I am not Chinese and was a bit apprehensive booking this tour. When I first got on the bus I think I was
one of the only seven or eight non Chinese tourists in a bus full of Chinese tourists.
However the tour guide Lankun and driver Quincy squashed any of my apprehensions right away.
Lankun is simply awesome. She is fluent in English and makes sure that all her non Chinese tourists are
well at ease and extremely well treated. She is amazing with the kids and kids love her. I have taken
quite a few bus tours and this was my first with predominantly Chinese co tourists but that was no issue
at all. Quincy , our bus driver was great. He was jovial and very friendly and above all an excellent and
safe driver.
So five plus stars specially for team Lankun and Quincy and just the sheer amount of spots we covered
at such a low price.

Dear Leader of Joy To Your Heart, Greetings!
Linda Wei07/06/2015
I am a tourist who joined a tour of Yellow Stone, Grand Teton and Mt. Rushmore – 7 days organized by
Joy To Your Heart during June 20-26. (tour bus: 599) It’s a wonderful trip! I am impressed by not only beautiful
natural wonders also professional service provided by Joy To Your Heart.
I feel very lucky to meet tour guide, James Li, and Driver Hu during the trip. They have demonstrated
very positive attitude toward tour group members and high professionalism.
I would like to use a few words to describe my impression of them.
Responsible and Customer centric: When we had free activities, James always explained details of
restaurants, restroom locations and scenery ahead and ensured we can get back timely. Every day
James Li was planning route reasonably to save time so that we had more time to enjoy scenery. At
Yellow Stone Park, through reasonable planning, we have visited 9 scenic places, giving me a full picture
of Yellow Stone Park which I long for seeing. When a tour member felf sick during the trip, James Li
switched seat with him to help him recover quickly. In Yellow Stone Park, I didn’t foresee weather was
so cold and asked Driver Hu to help me find luggage which stored warm coat. He was pleased to do so
even it was troublesome.
Experienced: James Li and Driver Hu both are very experienced. They knows reasonable time spending
at each place and route and every detail of all scenic places. As a tourist, I trust the tour guide and driver
and believe their arrangements are most effective way.
Knowledgeable: James Li is very knowledgeable. Before each scenic place, he explained history each
place. Also, he introduced different stages of American history. I feel learning knowledge and refreshing
my memory. He is glad to answer tour members’ questions.
This tour is over and the great memory will long remain with me. I would share my experience and
recommend the tour to my friends. Please kindly convey my appreciation to James Li and Driver Hu.
Great thanks!
Best Regards,
Linda Wei

Dear Joy To Your Heart,
Kaia W07/13/2015
My parents and I went on the 7-day Yellowstone-Arches trip between July 4 and 10. It was a memorable
experience and elicited our interest in learning more about each destination. Please send our special
thanks to Mr. James Li, our tour guide, and Mr. Hu, our bus driver. Their love of nature and dedication to
excellence, which my mom Yingping Feng detailed in her email, motivated us throughout the trip.
When touring Antelope Canyon, our local guide told me that her tribe's people prefer to be called Native
American instead of Indian. While I do not have a thorough knowledge on the origin and
appropriateness of these terms, I hope that your team reconsider the use of the term Indian in
written/oral materials and bring it to the awareness of future tourists.
Thank you again. it was a true joy to travel with you!

I am writing this to let you know that I have enjoyed the US East Coast 6 Days Deluxe Tour EC6. My tour
group guide is Bert Pan, who's from L&L tour agency of New York. He's very familiar with the subjects
about all the attractions. He's tried his best to help out the group members until the very end of the
tour, including checking air ticket information for non English spoken members. Thank you for this good
trip!

Dear Mr. Chen
Xipu Li and Rose Song 2014-09-30 01:58:05
My wife and I are writing to you to express our appreciations for the wonderful trip we just had.
We are very experienced travelers, but this trip has provided us a quite difference experience and enjoyment. This is the first time that I did not plan a trip myself. It was very relaxing and worry-free, so that after I got off the bus and drove my car home, I had missed several blocks before I realized it!
Tour guide Lan-Kun provided a high quality service. She is very professional with an impressive language skill and broad spectrum of knowledge. We have learned a lot from her during the trip, which was very surprising and unexpected. Her leadership skill is equally impressive. She established her authority to keep this big crowd with much different background in harmony in a very small space for 7 long days. Because of this, the trip was very pleasant.
Driver Quince is a good driver, very skillful and very fun to be with.
The itinerary is a good design and very efficient.
Just one minor suggestion: The guide should take the opportunity to educate the tourists from China to observe proper etiquette. For example, tell them to keep their voice low when making a cell phone call on board, or be patient and keep in order when getting off the bus. By doing so, it could reduce potential confrontations.
Thanks you again, and we will certainly see you guys soon.

Letter of Appreciation
Howard Cheuk 2014-05-25 08:34:00
Dear Sir/Madam:
I would like to identify one of your tour guides who provided excellent customer services during the course of travel to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park. This individual's name is David Cao.
David Cao demonstrates his strong leadership while guiding a team of more than fifty tourists who come from different areas in the United States and several other countries. Mr. Cao utilizes his outstanding bilingual skills in communicating with all team members in fluent Chinese Mandarin and English. As a tour guide and a team leader, Mr. Cao successfully incorporates all team members who are from different cultural backgrounds with his charming personality. Mr. Cao's direction, instruction, and introduction are clear and precise, which are helpful and educational. Mr. Cao exhibits his broad knowledge about the subjects that he introduces, and he always patiently answers questions with a friendly and helpful manner. There is not a single boring moment in the seven-day long journey, thanks to his great sense of humor and performance skills that are at the professional level. All members in the team enjoy hearing his lovely song "The Moon On The 15th". In such a joyful journey, what I will never forget is Mr. Cao's ability to manage crisis that happens unexpectedly.
I am deeply impressed by Mr. Cao's crisis management capability. The incident took place on the second day of my journey. Being in the bus running on the freeway, I suddenly realized that I left my waist wallet in the hotel where we stayed last night. So I notified Mr. Cao of what had happened. Mr. Cao promptly responded and he immediately contacted the hotel by using his cellular telephone. Mr. Cao explained to me what he would do to ensure the safe return of my personal property. After his repeat contacts with the hotel manager, Mr. Cao successfully made arrangement for an expressed delivery of my wallet via USPS to the hotel that we were heading. As Mr. Cao predicted, my wallet was waiting for me in the next hotel on Thursday. I inspected my wallet after receiving it in the hotel and I found that nothing inside was touched. My ID card, credit cards, and cash money remained intact. Believe it or not, my vacation without my wallet was still full of fun and enjoyable, as I trusted Mr. Cao and I was totally relax.
Mr. Cao is exemplary in terms of leadership, knowledge, service, and variety of skills. As a satisfied customer, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation to Mr. Cao and Joy To Your Heart Company. I certainly wish Mr. Cao all the best in his career promotional opportunities in the near future.
Sincerely yours,
Howard Cheuk

Kwok2012-05-05 01:42:14
We joined the GC07 tour departed 4-21-2012 and had a wonderful time with James being our tour guide.
The scenery and views were fantastics and overwhelming; plus, James is one of the best tour guides we have ever had for the last 10 years across all travel agencies. He even did extra work to help the driver handling all our luggages and personal needs like taking pictures, caring for the older folks etc. I just want to say "Big Thanks" to James and you did make our trip more enjoyable than ever.

Thanks to Lan Kun & Quincy
Stephen Tsang 2011-10-12 11:17:47
My name is Stephen, came with my wife from HK. Had joined Joy To Your Heart’s RY7 – Yellow Stone National Park & Mt. Rushmore tour departed on 24 Sep, 2011. We got a very pleasant journey in this trip. Not only that the weathers are fine – sunny all through the seven days; sceneries are extremely attractive, but more importantly we had an extremely excellent tour guide – Miss GUO Lankun. She spoke very fluent Mandarin and English which can satisfy the needs of The Chinese and several foreigners in the tour. Lan Kun has very professional knowledge and attitude, explaining every scene to us very detailed with their historical background.
Moreover, need to speak about the driver – Quincy Bell. He was very polite, friendly and professional in his job.
Sincerely thanks to Lan Kun and Quincy for their professional services to make this trip so memorable to us. I certainly will come back and recommend your company to our friends if they would like to join any tours in SF.

7-Day Mount Rushmore Yellowstone RY7
Joseph Chan 2011-08-24 11:02:50
My family of 4 joined this tour on Aug 6. Our tour guide was James and the driver was Cathy. I have to agree with all the comments from the previous posts. Honestly, for the first 5 days, we spent somewhere between 10 to 13 hours in the bus each day. It was not the most comfortable environment. However, James was working extremely hard to give us all the site related information and crack a few jokes from time to time. Whenever possible, he let us off the bus to stretch. This made a world of difference. Cathy's driving skill was also excellent, she got us safely home as well as a smooth ride all the way.

My first bus tour
Mable2012-06-17 05:18:15
Wow... never imagine I could've been to seven States in one single trip! It's with Guide A, James, Guide B, Joseph, and Driver Kelvin/Calvin together that brought me such a memorable & special 7 days/nights. Love James' stories + background info to the places visited (you speak wonderful Cantonese. Very clear indeed.); Love Joseph's sense of humor (you're definitely a funny guy) & especially given out much caring - a friendly, personal touch; Love Kelvin's ability to drive such a long way for days after days and still seems lively. Wanted to let you all know these things really mean much to me in and out of the journey. Appreciated ~~^^~~
Now I'm home and back to reality as if awaken from a splendid dream. Yet with those speechless scenic pictures taken along with the amazing moments there, I couldn't ask for more.
The tour is indeed wonderful. I enjoyed it. Wish all beautiful future trips!

Trip to Mount Rushmore &Yellowstone 7 Days (RY7)
Sandy Lin2010-08-10 10:13:11
I was glad to join the tour with my daughter (12 years old) and two nephews (10 & 16 years old) on July 24, 2010 to Mount Rushmore & Yellowstone. We really enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide named David Cao and the driver was Quincy (not crazy!). There was no doubt about their professional knowledge and attitude. They were so polite, patience, humorous and extremely helpful. During the trip, David explained every scene to us with Mandarin and English. When our tour bus entered Wyoming from Utah, David played Indian music for us and told us the story about the war between American Indian and whites. We felt like we were in an Indian movie. Also, I remembered one night when we entered to our hotel room, my little nephew couldn't find his camera. I called David for help. David told me that someone found it on the bus and gave it to him for safe keeping. How happy the little boy was when he heard the camera was found! We shot a lot of pictures during the trip.
Finally, I want to thank you for making this trip so memorable. I certainly will come back and recommend your company to our friends.

We want to thank James for his excellent customer service on GC7 Tour
Michael&Li-chien 2010-12-31 07:22:16
Hello, this is a commendation letter for James Lee, our tour guide for the SW tour he hosted between November 20 - 26 last month.
We want to thank James for his excellent customer service attitude and his taking care of the tourists faithful during the whole trip. He had gone extra miles to make sure that we were comfortable and got the most out of the trip despite some cold weather.
Just to list a few things that James is different than what we've experienced from the past tour guides:
1. James is easy going, very knowledgeable but not boastful. He is always truthful of what he promises and deliver the promises.
2. He offers us convenience of buying bottled water from him for a nominal fee. He is super considerate.
3. He offers to exchange rooms with any one who feels uncomfortable with his/her room.
4. His keeps the same pleasant, professional attitude before and after collecting the tips.
5. His communication skills are excellent. And he repeats as needed to make sure every one gets it.
6. He takes some good pictures for us and every one who asks, even though it's sub-zero temperature!
Over all, we appreciate having a nice tour guide like James and regard him as one of the best tour guides we've met by far. We heard similar comments from the other couple. I hope he gets the next raise or promotion as he definitely deserves it.
Regards,
Michael & Li-chien
